J K Rowling on Dateline
Caution Contains Book Spoilers.
Meredith Vieira's full length interview with Jo Rowling which aired on Dateline NBC. Jo talks specifically about death in the books, about the impact her own mother's death had on her writing and why she chose to kill off certain characters and let others live. We then revisit Jo's personal story and hear her talking about the early days of Harry and how the series grew and developed.
Jo also talks about the Harry Potter films and we see the trio of young actors talking about their relationship with Jo and her books.
The interview continues with a question-and-answer session with a group of very lucky fans who ask about the characters of Harry, Hermione, Dumbledore, Snape and more. Jo concludes by talking about the epilogue and provides lots of further insight into her characters' lives.

At thirty seconds in: "...the wizard she brought to life, and death, and life again."
Question:
WHAT USE ARE THE SPOILER ALERTS WHEN THE FREAKING ENDING OF BOOK SEVEN IS REVEALED IN THE FIRST THIRTY SECONDS?
Seriously. It boggles my mind.
