Order of the Phoenix Video Game Trailer - Sound Effects
What does magic sound like? In this trailer from EA Games we get an insight into the process of adding sound effects into the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix video game. In this trailer we hear from the Audio Director who talks about making the sound effects integral to the game, and the Sound Designer who explains how audio can create atmosphere. There is also a very interesting section on how the sounds themselves are created. And of course we also get to see some beautiful new shots from the game itself.

The music on Phoenix is absolutely breathtaking. I admit, I was a bit surprised when I first heard the rock introduction on the Goblet soundtrack, but I soon grew to love it. However this, the contemporary feel and the gracefulness of the sounds in this film, are a nice change back to the classical-esque I fell in love with on the first film. From what I've seen - and heard - this is sure to be the best Harry Potter yet, and I thank you guys at Leaky for keeping us fans informed every step of the way.
