Jason Isaacs on The Richard and Judy Show
This is a snippet from an interview with Jason Isaacs and Lee Evans from the Richard & Judy Show broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK. The two actors are starring together in the West End in the Harold Pinter play "The Dumb Waiter". In this clip Jason discusses how eager he is for Lucius Malfoy to be in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" and describes how he recently met J K Rowling (at the 2006 British Book Awards) and begged for her to tell him whether his character gets out of jail in the seventh book (she didn't).

Oh Lucius is definatly hiding out of fear, but at the same time, if Voldemort really wanted him dead, he could just send people into akbars to kill him now that theres no dementors.
I've always loved Jason Isaacs, on and off screen. He's nice. And funny.
VI, I think you may be right about Lucius, since the Dementors are no longer under Ministry control, maybe Lucius is just there biding his time, I'm sure he could escape if he wants. Dumbledore did say that Lucius was secretly pleased to be safe in Azkaban, so maybe we'll see more of him in Deathly Hallows.
I know this is off-topic, but while I'm thinking about Deathly Hallows, I CAN'T WAIT TILL JULY 21ST AND I'M DYING OF SUSPENSE!!!! Thank Goodness there's FanFiction to tide me over till then.... There are some really good writers out there!
Jason is so funny and attractive. Maybe Lucius gets out to go after Snape and his wife....
