I must agree with Lovesron, J.K. Rowling has the legal rights of Harry Potter, which means that the story is entirely hers. In forums people get mad at me for defending JKR, but its true people need to get into their heads that she made the books, she knows all these characters better than all of us. Also for people who say that they won't read the books because of what Jo answered in the reading at New York, its not about what you believe people its about acceptance. That last reporter must be new for not getting her facts right, and how dare she said that the story ended in New York WHOA!!, news flash, I consider myself a huge Harry Potter fan and I started reading the books a month after Deathly Hollows was publish, mind you I read all seven books in three weeks. For the Harry Potter series this is the beginning.

I'd just ike to say, in regard to the final reporter's questions in this press conference, that no one, not readers, not fans, and certainly not reporters who do not know the difference between a press conference and a question from a fan, have the right to judge an author for the way in which she views her own characters. It is not our place to question JKR, she was kind enough to answer readers' questions honestly, and for that we can not fault her. Dumbledore is gay, yes, but the world does not stop spinning, and this beautiful series of books certainly does not change in any way, shape, or form. I am personally extremly angry that any reporter would dare to question the woman who has created the greatest literary phenomenon in history, the unprecidented achievement of mass hysteria regarding these "children's" stories is something amazing, and its author had every right to make her own decisions regarding her world.

I would just like to say that I am a Harry Potter fan and if u knew my story in becoming one u would understand better, but I wrote to J.K.Rowling explaining how her books inproved my english skills by lodes and I am her biggest fan, I love her books and I would say that I would understand Harry, Ron and Hermione, not in tthe same way as J.K.Rowling, but I still understand them well enough. I know alot about Harry's world, that I get alot of questions about it. It is not very often that I would ask someone else a Harry Potter question, but I did ask J.K.Rowling 1 or 2 questions about it, but if she dosen't want to answer them because thats her way of understanding Harry Potter then thats ok with me. I would love to met her in person and and I gave her a chapter of my story called 'Rachel Trippley and the Cup to save the world'.
