Ok, here's a question, Harry may die or he may live, all right... what do you think about Ron and Hermione? Please, craving word of comfort teehee

I also love the Ska gags, Jonathan singing 'A Message To You Rudi' was hilarious! It would have been hilarious to have her end with Ron & Hermione going to a Specials concert and it being "What a perfect ending to our adventure, enjoying an evening of Ska".
great to see Jo cracking up at that.

I love Jonathan's reaction to the crowd booing at him saying he didn't care about **********'s death. Very funny (too rude for the kiddies though) *lol*.
Please don't cave and write another book JK, end on a high, don't drag it out so it becomes stale!!! 7 books is enough for anyone, there's no need to be greedy!

Don't forget though, "Can't Wait", that she said she wouldn't rule out writing another book about "that world"... she didn't say "about Harry." So Harry could die, and she could still write about the world... or maybe she could do a kind of story of the life of Dumbledore or something.

(Not that I think Harry's going to live or die for sure, but I just wanted to point out that nothing she said in this interview proves definitively that Harry will live, nor does anything she said prove definitively that Harry will die.)

I'm afraid I know of one of the characters that dies, hopefully I'm wrong because the last two were ruined for me by some jerk who had to tell me who died. I won't post who I think, that wouldn't be fair.... I seriously hope Lestrange dies though, I'll never forgive her for Sirius. :)

My personal opinion says Harry won't die, what kind of message would that send unless it were a hero's death and he'd killed Voldemort first? It wouldn't be good for a "young adult" book to have evil win over good. I desperately hope the thoughts of Hermione and Ron are wrong, I hate JK for making me cry about Dumbledor and Sirius, I don't want to drown in my tears about his best friends too!

Can't wait, it seems like forever away still. I wish I wouldn't have known about it being released until the day of, that would make life so much easier.

After mulling it over for a night or two, I'm thinking that the 10 years is hinting to next generation Hogwarts.. If say Harry is looking at the face of his own one year old son... with no scar... at the end of book 7. Here's hoping!!
Can't Wait says....
she said she might continue the books in a couple of years so he can't be dead

Wow, that was a GREAT interview!! She seems really relieved that she's made it to the end without having to compromise to anyone else's demands. HOW DOES IT END?? I'm a nervous wreck wondering if Harry's going to die. I admit that the bawling her eyes out over one of the chapters at the end is not a good sign for Harry. But then it could just be something incredibly touching or bittersweet, like the Mirror of Erised portion of book one which she also said she cried a lot about. (I'm the eternal optimist...)

Look at her face when she says Harry's story comes to a clear end - looks to me like he does die. Death is as clear as an end gets.
