I agree,Luna was never a love interest for Harry they are just friends.They get on because they are both very simular they both get made fun of, but both doesnt care what people think.

I'm sorry: Luna competition for Cho? Was that a joke?? Luna is, of course, a very important and plain enjoyable character, but she she is not written as a possible love interest -- not for Harry, certainly not.
