Josephine Why do you think Dumbledore wasn’t suspicious of Quirrel? It was on his order that Snape was watching him. Remember the phrase from Snape’s memories in the seventh book, when Dumbledore says to Snape “Keep an eye on Quirrel, won’t you?”
